- I'm hoping someone can help me out with a small problem I'm having.
-
- I dial up my uni account using MLINK to provide the internet protocol,
- and I wish to redirect UNIX X clients to my local display provided by
- AmiWin. However to do this I need to know my local IP display number.
-
- e.g.
-
- xclock -display 127.0.0.1: &
-
- would redirect the display to the local default display, by not the
- display of my remotely connected machine.
-
- Does anyone know how to find this out? I could not find it in the
- documentation of either MLINK or AmiWin.
-
- All answers gratefully received.
-
- Thanks.
